I am doing a school project that requires Microsoft Publisher. I did not realize until now that Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac does not include MS Publisher. So after that I tried downloading OpenOffice. Just my luck again, no Publisher editor. Anyway I can find a free MS Publisher editor or at least a way that I can view it. Thank you.

Nope, MS Publisher project files can only be edited in MS Publisher. A plain viewer application is only available for Windows.

You should ask someone to open the project file in MS Publisher and export a PDF copy for you to view it (well, or do it yourself).

There is also a web-based conversion service for MS Publisher files (.pub) provided at Zamzar: http://blog.zamzar.com/2008/01/25/convert-ms-publisher-files-pub-files-to-doc-pdf-odt-rtf-and-more/

(Maybe suggest using a multi-platform open-source application like Scribus for future projects?)
