Question:
3DS Max 2013 - Omni Light rendering bug! Help!?
2013-06-15 23:17:20 UTC
So i have created a scene with a few stones, trees and ground. When i render without lights but just with the default lighting in Max, there is no problem and the image is done within 1-2 minutes. However if i put even one omni light it totally bugs, doesn't want to even start rendering so it's more like a bug and not a slow computer. Please help if you know a trick to get this fixed.

How much ram do you have? you don't say if your using foliage and you have little memory then set the trees to under canopy never and this will render in low detail. max is very memory intensive the more stuff you have in your scene trees lighting models whatever it all takes time to render. add more memory

the more memory you have the unless time it will take to render your scenes

i'm not a 3ds max guy or woman, yet i do use maya autodesk, and its precisely the same. finding on the quantity of factor interior the physique, and components like textile, glass and textures will dramatically decelerate your rendering time. for this reason many human beings injury the scenes up with diverse cameras and render them seperately, they take much less time. x
