What exactly are you trying to insert? or write?

If you mean equations, you do have this option in Word. Click on Insert, down to Object and then scroll down till you see Microsoft Equations. If however you mean simple functions like add up, take away etc. insert your figures into a table then click on Table on the menu bar down to formula and insert the formula relative to the result you want, i.e. =sum(above) etc. You can, of course, simply use superscript and subscript if you wish.

Go to Insert- Symbol, then browse to Mathematical Operators.

Subscripts and superscripts are very plenty attainable in the fonts menu. there's a sequence of symbols with which = or supplies to could be typed. yet using the sub/great scripts is extremely tiring. you're actual if a particular medical menu is given by potential of Microsoft.
