Question:
Can you get to a message you copied and pasted over?

I have windows xp. I was writing a long letter in yahoo.mail and I decided I wanted to send it from a different e-mail address. I cut my letter and while waiting for the other program to load, I went to find the contact e-mail I wanted to copy and paste. NOT THINKING, I had not pasted the letter I copied. So when I went to paste the letter the copied e-mail was there and not my letter.
It was a very important letter. Is there any way to get it back? Does the computer store anything that I can get it back form?
Thanks!

If you have yahoo mail window open, you can type ctrl+z, it should show the text you had CUT.

No luck if you have closed the original yahoo mail window from where you had cut the message.

Thanks

Try a better browser. Opera often will keep information when the back button is used, or even if a window has been closed and reopened.

Good luck!
