Industry Standard is still PCs.
There are systems that were designed 15 years ago and that work just fine under the windows world. So why would a company pay $600 for 100 new computers and lose $60,000 when they can keep with windows?
I do not understand what you claim about the money?
PCs are generally cheaper than a MAC system. You can get a new nice $450 computer that can everything but gaming.
Also PC does have more utilities and apps than a MAC.
The mac is catching up though that it went to a unix kernel i do believe they will pull a larger share of the market but slowly over time.
MACs are nice and they have their uses. They are truely catching up, but a PC is much much more changable and flexable.
I view MACs a concel of the computer world. Like an xbox or PS2. If a part breaks there aint much you can to fix it yourself. It is standalone if you can only use parts that are made for JUST that.
In the computer world it used to be like that, i remember with AMD and IMB and intel and everything.
There was once a day when a mouse could only work with a certain type of CPU..... now it is all mixable!
To all those that will claim MACs do not get viruses, just you wait, at first IBM machines didnt have viruses but they got them after they got popular.
Just a matter of time till viruses get mass produced for MACs
