How do you put MS Access DB report with images onto a website?

I have an in-house database in MS Access, programed for a report that displays and prints photos and description information. I need to post this on our office website - does not need to be active, static is okay (possibly preferred). When I save to HTML the images don't come with it as they are not embeded in the database they are stored on the computer. Any suggestions would be great.

I havn't worked with outputting to an HTML page, just Data Files in HTML & XML formats... SO all I can suggest is posting to a developers forum where more back & forth is allowed... Or searching the Knowledge Base...

I got this to work, but it required several tweaks.



Put the images in a subdirectory of the folder where you want the HTM file on the website, like .../images.



In Report Design, change the Picture path to /images/ for each image.



Save the report as a Data Access Page:

File/Save As

Select Data Access Page, instead of report



The problem is that the data access page seems to rename the pointers to the images - it renamed my pointer to /images/sun.jpg to /images/Image0.bmp. When I renamed my actual picture /images/sun.jpg to /images/Image0.bmp, the correct picture showed on the data access page.



You would need to rename your images to match what the data access page is looking for. View the htm page, and right-click on the missing image, select Properties to see the image filename and change your image to that name. Do that for each one.



Presumably, you would not need to do this every time, if the images on the report do not change.
