Well I'm looking to take up a programming language, which will either be java, C++/C, PHP, or html/css. I'm just trying to think one which to focus on, which one would give better bonuses. PHP would be good for functions, but C++/C would be good for making programs, and java is compatible with alot of things and I have a basic understanding of it already. HTML/CSS would be for the web design/development aspect of it. Any help please?

the better paying ones are PHP, Ruby on Rails, Groovy Grails, Java, C, Objective C, OOP.

HTML and markup languages do not usually pay as well.

It all depends on what type you would like to learn. There is web development and there is object-oriented. I myself would recommend object programming with C++.
