I am thinking of starting a game development company and I would like to know which type of computer to use, PC or Mac and why.
Thanks in advance

I would go with p.c.
1. It has been around for a very long time.
2. windows still dominate.
3. apple has a lot of restrictions even when your a developer. p.c. is more open.
4. If you produce the best game. Someone (apple or someone) will pay you to port your game over to there system.
5. Apple products are good but I can't think of one game apple has. That pc don't.

You can't start a game development company if you couldn't figure this one out on your own. PC is always better for 3D graphics and animation.

Mac is good hardware, excellent looks, very compact ....
But for developing anything good and popular you need a PC.

I learned to design with my Mac laptop, I feel Mac computer systems are higher a more practical to make use of, something you need to do is easy, for instance while you insert a CD, it right away appears in the computer, and other points more. The difficulty with Mac is the fee, are extra expensive than the computer, and the program is more complicated to seek out, and extra high-priced, and so everything. If used for a industry mostly is okay, since we can cost the fee to the costs.

PC. PC is always better for games.
