how could i know that the IIS (Internet Information Service) is working on windows vista ultimate, and does it has any effect on setup sql server 2005 cause wile setup the program it gives me a notification that there is no IIS...thanks

Hi,

To know whether IIS is installed, Go to Run and type "inetmgr" incase you get any window then you have IIS else no.



While installing SQL Server, If you don't have IIS then you cannot install Reporting Services else there will be no issue.

Check Add remove programs. If not found try going to Administrative Services under control panel. The select services. It shows the available services.

it would help in case you published the question sq. code, describe the table shape somewhat and let us know what's (or isn't) happening once you attempt to execute it. you truly have not given us something to artwork with here.
