Question about MKV files, so i downloaded this Boxing match and the file was over 5 GB, so i decided to split it onto two to parts in order to save on two data discs, but after using MKV merge GUI and splitting it successfully, when i try to use Tipard MKV to convert it to VOB because i also want a copy of it on DVD in VOB format, when i hit add files its not picking up the MKV files i split.

I know those MKV files i split work because they play with my vlc player. I used this tutorial to split the MKV file file.....http://www.logichaos.com/joomla/guides/35/60-how-to-split-mkv-to-multiple-mkv-files.html

I used G spot to identify what kind of file i have after converting and it says the following

File Type: Matroska media file (.MKV)
Mime Type: video/x-matroska

So why wont Tipard pick it up when i try to add file?

Sorry if my question is a bit broad but im not to clued up on this stuff.
