All the font sites only let you test a sentence with the font choice. We are doing a rebrand, and would like to pull it into some of our existing documents to test - so I need a free version for testing. We will then buy licenses for the ones we want. Anyone know of good resources to find these free versions - I already know about abstractfonts. Much thanks!

I think it will be tough to find fonts that are pay versions, yet they let you download it for testing. Once the font has been downloaded there is little that the creator can do to protect it. Perhaps if there is a font store (not online) somewhere close to you, you could take your documents there and get them to show you what they look like. If you narrowed down your choices using the online tools (fonts.com lets you enter a bunch of text) maybe you could convince them to let you try the fonts on your own machine. But like I said, once the font is installed on a PC it's virtually impossible to enforce its removal, so I'd imagine they'd be hesitant.

I suppose there are other options but probably best left unmentioned.
