Okay, so I am making a website layout in Photoshop. The background for the site size in photoshop is 1024 by 768 (height) . I am in photoshop and I am lost on what size to make the actual aspect of the website. ( This is where the header, the buttons, and main contents will be) What size should I make that area in photoshop?

Someone gave me a hint, they said, the height will have to be the same, just that the width will be different.

Any help?

You want to create it using one of these.

Trying to use photoshop will be a disaster on different screen resolutions.

Couldn't say. I created mine on a 1680 x 1050 HD/TV monitor.

900px width, and 200px is ideally perfect! :)
