Hey I am currently sending out a mailing list. Processing individual unsubscribe requests is too inefficient, so I am looking to setup a web page that will take an email address as an argument and then display a little message like the one below. Then it will add it to a text file somewhere on the website which I can recover weekly (I am open to other ways of storing the list, as long as it doesn't send me an email each time someone unsubscribes.). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your remove request has been received.

You will not receive any further emails from us at the following address:

i have created email system recently, for unsubscribe i put the link in the bottom like this

If you will like to unsubscribe for our mailing list click here

Then in the www.mysite.com/unsubscribe/index.php page, i do the logic where i will delete the email address from Database using PHP.
just "JR"

Download the free "email newsletter" script from http://web2coders.com.

This script sends an email to a list of recipients (stored in DB), with EACH individual email having a small MD5 code embedded in a link.

On clicking on the link, the email calls the site for the "unsubscribe.php" script that compares the passed code to the database... and marks the user as "not to receive newsletter".

It is important NOT to delete the user's address from the DB!

If the user was registered, and unsubscribed, and you delted the entry, the next time he registers again, you will be sending the newsltter again... against his wishes!

It sounds all too suspect to me. I think if he isn't already cheating then he's looking to. As someone said, he may have that he is looking on his profile so that he can have women talk to him but why would he need to go on a dating website to find women if he just wants to "talk" to them. And he could have written something like seeking friends or something. I would confront him and tell him that you see he is looking for someone on the dating websites and ask when he was going to tell you about it... perhaps after he had found someone else? If he can't stay away from the internet porn then he possibly has an addiction. I don't think you have any other option than to confront your husband and tell him you know what he is doing and see his reaction. Tell him how it makes you feel. If he doesn't care then you need to take your kids and get out because you deserve more. The stress he is putting you through isn't great for your little bub either. Take care of yourself. I wish you luck in dealing with this.
