Is it possible in like Frontpage, or dreamweaver or some program like that to get the background of a cell transparent if the background is like a picture. Like say you have a table and the tables background is a picture of a dirt bike but the main background on the page is something else but you want the picture of the dirtbike that is the cells background to be transparent or semi transparent so you can see the main background...please help me

You need to go beyond Dreamweaver, and do the semi-transparent effect in an image editing program like Adobe PhotoShop, ImageReady, Fireworks, or The Gimp. That last one happens to be free...

Don't use background-color in css or table to keep your tables or divs transparent. Check all nested tables and outer tables if there is any background-color/ bgcolor given then remove these attributes....

do no longer use historic past-colour in css or table to maintain your tables or divs sparkling. study all nested tables and outer tables if there is any historic past-colour/ bgcolor given then eliminate those attributes....
