What is better ...Buying a Ready made Template VS. Site made from scratch? ?

Please list pros and cons...What is a reason not to go with a reasy made template package or shopping cart with everything Vs. a programmer building a site from scratch?


Since I cant find a programmer to build my site can I BUY the package template and have someone customixe it for me, or is this more work?

well it depends on you.



pre-made template:



1. It's cheaper

2. you can set it up faster since its pre made all you need to do is change text and pics

3. All kinks and bugs are worked out already



creating your own, or hiring someone:



1. You get a site that will meet your vision. with templates you might not like everything about it.

2. If you are wanting to change the layout its easier to do it when you built it yourself cause you know how it works

3. a sense of pride

I like making my own templates because you have more freedom of hwat you want in it.



Buying a template is the easy way out :)
