Question:
Is there a way to poke around a certain games coding?
?

Im interested in coding, and i want to know if there is a way to look at a certain games coding.
For example, is there a app or a hidden place in my phone where the coding for "Stickman dismount" is available?
Also, if it is possible, can i change the coding and have the game do what i want?
for example, can i change the coding so i get double the coins for one dismount?
Coding languages are not a problem for me.
If there is a app or place where i can look at a games coding and possibly change some things in it, please tell me.
Thanks!

When a game is complete, it gets converted to machine code. It's an encrypted version of the code that's a lot simpler for a computer to read so that everything is both safer and faster. You cannot change machine code unless you want the game to not work anymore. You would have to convert it to source code. I order to do that, you would have to use the exact same computer with the exact same IP address of the person who made the game and the exact same program and program registration code. Basically, you would have to break into their house. The best way to change the code is to ask the creator for the source code, then convert it to machine code yourself, though it will be your own copy of the game, and it will most likely be denied by any game maker. If you want to practice your game coding, go find an open source game, or go make one yourself!

No it's not possible to change the code that easily because the code will be compiled. The code you can extract from an app would lack variable names and comments and be very hard to comprehend.

Hacking a game to double coin and such may be possible anyway (shouldn't be a problem if it's an offline game). To do this can download some memory scanner app that also has the functionality to change variables (such as "cheat engine" for example).

For example, you know your gold in the game currently is "23294". You search the phone's RAM memory for this value by using the memory scanner. When you find it you know the location where the gold variable is stored and you can change it to increase your gold.

I think a good way to learn coding is to do it yourself. Try to install Ubuntu but not on a computer that has NO pc software you bought because then you would lose all your downloaded stuff that you paid for. Use a pc that is expendable then download free Ubuntu software then burn it to a DVD disc it will be in bootable format then boot to disc drive install to hard disk. Afterwards you can play around with a calculation software LIBRE OFFICE and do lots of cool calculations and conversions and even download packages to design cool programs. depends, I have done it. I did it with a jail broken iPhone. Then got into the file system of the phone, and found the game Clash Of Clans. This particular game stores building and stat values in an unencrypted database like file. Made the changes that i wanted and BOOM my level 1 cannon was now a level 11. it only worked with certain things, like defense only. but once the change was made it worked. Meaning that the client(iPhone) talked with a server to authenticate the settings, but for the defensive items in the game it didn't seem to care. So give it your best shot.

Nik Pierce has no idea what he is talking about! He stated "you would have to use the exact same computer with the exact same IP address". This is total lunacy! Then he states "The best way to change the code is to ask the creator for the source code, then convert it to machine code yourself".

Do you see the contradiction? "exact same computer with the exact same IP address" ... "ask the creator for the source code, then convert it to machine code yourself. How can you have the same computer & IP address?

not really. You will have the compiled version (machine code) not source code. Changing the coding is hard without the source code...

"Coding languages are not a problem for me."

If that were even *remotely* true, you wouldn't be asking this question.

chances are that its all encrypted and not actual raw coding so it would do you no good to get access, but yes, you can get access

If it's open source then you can. otherwise no
