How do I make a background image stretch to fit the whole browser screen?

I have a image which i would like to use as the background for a website.
When I do it the image doesnt stretch to fit the whole screen it just repeats itself, this is what i am doing




Any help would be great

You can't stretch it to fill the screen - you can only have a wepage background image repeating.



The only way you can do that is if you have your website as a flash file - but you shouldn't be wanting to have an image stretching anyway as that's lessening the quality of the image.

Bottom left of screen. Start. Settings. Control Panel. Display. Desktop. Box towards the right of screen says...Stretch. Click.



Have a play with the settings. You can always get your old desktop back. And you can get some good effects.

Right click an open area on your desktop and click properties. In the "Desplay Properties" dialog box choose the "Desktop" tab. On the right side of the window you will see "Position". Click the down arrow and choose "Stretch"
