If you really worked at it, a few months, depending on how much programming you already know. If you already know C++, you could pick it up in a week or two.

What you spot "on the backside" of your IDE is your console purely as in case you tried to run this methodology from a command window. Your java type could incorporate basically the function of despite this is and not something extra. person enter and output demonstrate like a printout could be writen of their own java instructions that carry out basically those applications so which you would be able to write 1000's of alternative functionaly java instructions that each and all and sundry use the comparable single enter and output type. this is incredibly helpful to make use of alternative frameworks that has those function construct in like like an uncomplicated JSP for a internet friendly person enter and a few style of reporting device for the printouts.

1) Learn programming http://www-old.oberon.ethz.ch/WirthPubl/AD.pdf

2) Learn Java.

It should take about 6 months to learn the basics of programming and a couple of years to get good at Java (or any other language).
