The site you refer to uses PDF files created such that copying and printing is not allowed. You need PDF creation software to do that; they used Acrobat Distiller. Pretty much anything you put up in html can be easily copied. Typical javascript copy "protection" takes two mouse clicks to disable.

As a web designer and someone who browses the internet, I'm asking that you please don't use anti-right-click scripts. They're bad design. They're annoying. And they drive people away from your site.

Right-click-blocking scripts don't really work. Certain browsers like Firefox and Opera can be set to just ignore your script.

Right-click-blocking scripts only annoy people. But they don't just annoy the people who are trying to right-click and copy your stuff.

Some people use something called mouse gestures, where their browser can perform certain actions by right-clicking and dragging in a certain pattern on the screen. If you embed a right-click-blocking script, it interrupts them when they're trying to go back or forward or reload their browser.

And some people may right-click for some other reason, not just to copy your code. They may want to bookmark your page to return to it later.

And worse yet, right-click-blocking scripts don't prevent most people from copying your text. Anyone can still view the source of your page and copy it straight from there. Or they can save it directly from the file menu. No right-click is required.

Even PDF protection(what was used on that site) is easy to get around if someone has a decent PDF reader program.

If you want to make copying text from your site truly difficult and don't want to annoy people, paste the text into an image file and then post the image file. That would make it nearly impossible to copy the text out. Anyone who wanted to copy your text would have to do so by hand.

If you do this, your page will not appear in a Google searches, and it may look odd in some people's browsers or if someone prints it out.
