Question:
Why do all Yahoo image galleries go blank before the end when scrolling through images?

In the last few months every time I attempt to view an image gallery on Yahoo (and only on Yahoo) the screen turns an opaque white after a few images in the gallery. Once I start over I can get a few images past where I was before and it does it again. Each time I restart I can get a little further along. The screen appears as if suddenly gauze has been laid across the screen. You can somewhat see the original page underneath this layer but have close the page out and start over to get it to go away (until it invariably comes up again). It's maddening to try to view Yahoo image galleries. And this happens on no other web site I go to. It does it on every browser I've tried. I've attached an image of how things look when this happens.

It's the way Yahoo has implemented it - it does look naff.

Thanks, but I find it hard to believe Yahoo would intentionally design their web entity to intentionally do something so incredibly annoying, if not outright stupid.
