This script will make it impossible for people to highlight your text and copy it.

Copy and paste this code inside the section of your web page.

Just about impossible. You could use javascript to make it unselectable, but that doesn't stop somebody from copying out of the source code, or showing up with scripting disabled. You could use a picture of the text. Only the entire picture can be copied. Text in an adobe flash presentation is not selectable, and I think you can also make it unselectable in a pdf file. They can always take a screen shot.

Amazing, very answerer so far knows what they are talking about.

Short answer - you can't.

If you don't want the text to be copied, make an image or Flash out of it - that will make it more difficult to copy (but not impossible).

Any Javascripts or other solutions involving disabling menus and such are so easy to bypass, that they are not even worth spending time on.

There is no way you can prevent being copied from your website.

But there are a few ways to trick some noobs into thinking that it cant be copied.

1) You can use this neat script here. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/noselect.htm

2) You can make the text into an image.

Yea, have fun with your website.

Simple answer: you don't. If someone wants to steal your text badly enough, they will. You can't stop them. The best you can do is throw so many roadblocks in their way, they lose interest.
