This is the sum of all frustration, a message I get when I try installing a new package through the terminal (or through icons for that matter). I'm sure you've seen it:
I'm about fed up with Linux Ubuntu. As much as everyone talks it up, and even though it's probably the best OS option outside of Microsoft and Apple's shenanigans, I'm about to start thinking you get what you pay for here. I want to begin C++ programming and web development (using coffeecup) on Linux, but every time it's a broken link, or it doesn't install properly. Linux just seems like a completely unorganized POS where people dump their junk, and each time a new update happens (which is often) nobody bothers to update their contributions, so it's hard to tell what works and what doesn't, and WHERE to go to find programs that are actually functional. Not to mention no matter how much I've tried tweaking with WINE I can't get iTunes or Safari to work, and am even having trouble getting the latest version of Internet Explorer working through WINE.

End of central directory signature not found. blah blah blah, "period." This is basically saying the file doesn't exist or can't be run, right?
Considering half of everything doesn't work and you can't test across on Safari, and have trouble doing it on IE, is it even really worth it??
