What is a ts file and how can i view this video?

Hello.
I downloaded a vid. when i tried to view it it wouldn't open because its a ts file.
What is a ts file?
What can i do so i can see what i downloaded?
Do i have to convert it to something else?

You're attempting to play a Video_TS file I take it? These are the files that are created when you burn a dvd. You could see if VLC will play it, it plays just about everything else--but I haven't tried that and I don't believe it does.



You'll need to either burn it to a dvd, or simply google a free video_ts converter to convert it to a more standard format.

Id download a different video format but if its not a virus *cough* then go download this program called VLC player that plays like every video format.
