I am testing a new system and have already imported all 30 NBA teams along with scores into excel via web query however the imported data doesnt give me boxscores, it just gives me final scores. I already have the url's to the box scores but need to find out how to actually link the box scores to the corresponding cells. For example if I click on a date in cell A1, I want another worksheet to pop up with the boxscore of that particular matchup. I am scraping the data from www.basketball-reference.com.

I have zero excel knowledge but yahoo is a mans best friend..lol. If i wanted to get the boxscore from the Atlanta Hawks game on October 28,2009 I would get it from here

http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200910280ATL.html

The parameters are pretty basic and relatively straight forward for scraping the boxscores but I'm stuck on linking the dates in column 1 to the box scores
Here is a link to the unfinished spread sheet.

Edit: Your question was, specifically, 'How do I link a webpage to a cell in Microsoft Excel?' Not 'How do I link a worksheet to a cell in Microsoft Excel?' It really does help to reduce wasted time to be more specific in one's questions....

Open the workbook and select the cell to insert the link.

Open the particular web page you wish to link to for that cell, highlight the URL and 'copy'.

ALT + TAB back to the worksheet.

Press Ctrl + K

When the Edit Hyperlink window opens, the cursor should already be in the 'Address:' text box at the bottom.

Press Ctrl + V to paste the URL into the address textbox.

At the top of the window, insert the text you wish to display for this link.

Click 'OK'.

you purely could use an onclick adventure of the 1st listbox retaining that listbox 2 by to as many others as you get carry of, could practice an identical line selection so in case you click option 2 that's line 3 because of the fact line 0 is the 1st one, relating the ListIndex of each and every record field. you are able to produce different thoughts for the onclick regardless of if the alternative chosen in the 1st record field determines the values of each and every othe record field like picking listbox a million and determination 5 capacity that listbox 2 shows line 3 listbox 3 shows line 5 and so on then your code could mirror those thoughts.

Right-click the cell. Hyperlink. Fill in the blanks.
