use iTunes to create an mp3 file out of your wav file. Wav files are too big to upload in general, so websites don't like to handle them.

unless your question is, more basic than the first guy is assuming. In that case. Your website is made up of html files. you must first have these html files on your hard drive. open the html file with note pad (either right click and open with, or open notepad and file-open) Once you get your source code open hold down the Ctrl key, and then tap the letter F, then, let go of Ctrl key. A wav file is the same basic format as CD Audio. That's very inefficient space and bandwidth wise. Your solution is to convert the wav file to an mp3. Lots of programs allow you to do this, including ITunes.

check your settings for the mp3..sounds like the frequency is wrong?
Frequency may be from 8KHz to 48KHz. The default value is 44.1 KHz.
check with bolt too as to what to save your settings at..then the chipmunks gone :)
