if a zip file is imperfect (say checksum mismatch) during download , transfer or storage over time, could it be extracted by WINZIP?
I know a slightly corrupted file could be extracted by 7-zip. I don't mean that. I mean Winzip. I actually only want to know if a zip file could be extracted by winzip, does it ensure that the file is perfectly intact? I am considering about file integrity stuff.

If Winzip can extract then the archive is good.

so if winzip is not getting it properly use winrar that is better than winzip.

Try IZArc.

It is free and it can open all popular archive files.
