How to convert visio to pdf and keep embedded documents?

Question

I'm creating a chart on visio 2010 and have a couple embedded word documents. When I convert it to a pdf, the documents are no longer click-able and are just pictures. Is there a way to actually make them clickable, embedded documents and not just attach the other documents to the pdf on the sidebar?

I have Adobe 9 Pro if that helps anything.

1. Open Microsoft Visio



2. Open a Visio drawing (.VSO or .VSOx)



3. Select from main menu "File"->"Print"



4. Select Printer "Virtual PDF Printer"



5. If you need to adjust PDF generation options, click the "Property" button on the right



6. Click "OK"



7. A dialog will pop up, assign the folder and file name of the PDF document to be generated
