Use a software like SmartFTP to browse the files you have on the server and it should be there. If not, create your own...

I am supposing you are on Godaddy's shared hosting plan, not VPS nor dedicated one.

1) you have to create your own .htaccess and place it in your root directory. To create your .htaccess on Windows, simply create a htaccess.txt file to be uploaded via FTP and renamed to .htaccess.

2) You are not advised to use mod_rewrite on a shared hosting account. It would make your site slower. The way to rewrite your url depends on the script you installed on that server.

Methinks it is somebody in love with the sound of his own voice yet, proper right here, it is going to probably be written. however I particularly bypass him via potential of, as i could any long-winded bore at a occasion. i do no longer subject to gang up on him. he's no longer of any venture to me, and that i do no longer desire any injury to him in any admire. It keeps him busy! *smile* Peace all.
