Im trying to screen capture a single PDF page. When the PDF pages fills the whole screen I can only ALT | PRTSC about 1/3 of the page on the screen. Ive tried CaptureWizPro and it seems to work only for webpages, not PDF files. I can reduce the PDF page down in size, but then the clarity is distorted. I want to capture a single page full PDF, that fills the whole screen width at 170% of actual size. How do I do this?

I use the Nuance PDF Reader rather than the more common Adobe reader. It's free. Look at

http://www.nuance.co.uk/products/pdf-reader/index.htm

When I hit the print button, as well as the normal real printer, my computer has options for:

Microsoft Office Document Image Writer

or

Microsoft XPS Document Writer

as the printer to use. The first one produces a TIFF file that can be viewed in Windows Photo Gallery or a photo editor such as Paint Shop Pro. The second one produces a file that opens in Internet Explorer (I use IE8).

I have tried using Adobe to do this, but it does not work for me. I have had other problems with Adobe, which is why I switched to Nuance.

Hope this helps.

You could take multiple screenshots at the size you need, then piece them together in a Paint program like Paint.Net. Paste the different parts on different layers. You can then zoom in and out to line them up.

You could try looking through what's available at CNET.com:

This program seems to have something to do with capturing while scrolling:

It states: "What's new in this version: Version 5.0 adds timed recording and new scroll tool that captures darn near anything that scrolls horizontally or vertically."
