hi, i'm trying to create a personal website of photography with a gallery, blog, portfolio, etc... but i'm having difficulty in understanding some things.

there's all these wonderful and beautiful flash templates with galleries and menus and news modules and all these stuff, but it's really a pain to edit this kind of templates to our taste, messing with xml code, html code, flash files ... Imagine i added 3 new photos and a piece of news a week, it's a lot of work to add these into the template, wouldn't it be easy to have an admin panel on the back to easily add new photos, new text, change our contact info or add a new song to the background?

i've been finding some different templates that are called Admin Templates. What are those and what do they do? Can i buy a flash template and then adapt to the admin template ?

Have you thought about using a content manager system like Joomla or Wordpress?

Those make adding stuff and displaying a bit easier if you don't want to code.

Also.. DONT OVER FLASH YOUR SITE. TOO MUCH FLASH IS AS IRRITATING AS ALL CAPS!

sorry.. :) Many many systems have an administrative back-end to them. Also there are scripts that simply read folders and display whats in them etc...

In short... You can do what you need, but maybe not with what you have. Stuff is out there for free to use.

Check sourceforge, and hotscripts and places like that. You'll find it.

you could desire to objective importing it by using the media application, noting the url and then changing your reference in the wordpress topic report via the wordpress editor, yet that is approximately it, and that i do no longer comprehend if it may artwork. you additionally can upload the emblem report to a different server and link to it that way using the editor via the admin.
