After I convert videos into gif, I opt for Honeycam. Honeycam is a new GIF editor and has various elements and results. It will possibly also document a section of your screen, so which you can record elements of films and switch them into GIFs.

You can also add and delete the animated GIFs by frames. So you can grap certain parts of the videos to .gif files for my Tumblr or blogger.
