On the main page of filezilla.com it says:

Quick download links:
Download filezilla Client (All platforms)

or

Download Filezilla server (windows only)

Which do I download?

I'm building my site using godaddy.com as my host.

Thanks!

If you are trying to build a FTP site where other users will connect to it to download stuff you'd want the server. If you are trying to connect to another FTP server then you'd need the client.

You want the client. The server is you want to host an FTP server at your house (like on a NAS or on your computer or such). For connecting to the Go Daddy servers and doing up your site you want the Client software.

You will want to download the client. A client is used to connect to a ftp server. The ftp server in your case is located at godaddy's.

The Server version will allow you to host your own ftp server and allow other clients to connect to your server to upload or download files to it.
