On my website, using Dreamweaver CS5, I have an image for the home page. But I don't want any spaces to show above or below the image. Right now there is about an inch showing of the backround, but how can I completely get this image to stretch the entire screen top to bottom? everytime I try stretching it down, the page itself gets long (in which i dont want)

Does anyone know a resolution to this? I even tried aligning the image every option.

100% Background Image Code:

bgStretcher jQuery Plugin Allows to Add Background Image to Page and Proportionally Resize it to Fill Entire Window Area: http://www.ajaxblender.com/bgstretcher-jquery-stretch-background-plugin.html

Are you sure its as a background as if you stretch an image and just display the image instead of setting it as a background it will just make the site get longer.

Secondly don't stretch an image use a professional program to increase its size. "Irfanview" or something.

Make sure you set it as a BG not just display it.

consider above. border = '0' could do it for you in any photograph format.. except the border is particularly portion of the image... then you definately gotta open up an editor and do away with it.

You need to go into the code view and delete the spaces.
