Instead of updating, you are better using the flash player uninstaller to completely wipe it from your computer and then start again:

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

(download, run and when its finished delete it)

Then re-install flash from the link below:

http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-FLASH

And if you are still having trouble after this, here are JavaScript instructions:

It has nothing to do with the age of your PC . Also 1 yr old is not too much for watchin youtube vids . The thing is you might be having the internet connection not enough for watching streaming vids smoothly . What u can do is -- have patience , let the movie start itself . On youtube therez buffering . let it be 100% . Dont click play again n again .

Hmm.. that's real strange.. !

Hmm.. I know you have flashplayer installed, but is there maybe an upgrade available that you haven't yet installed?

May I ask what is happening with the youtbue videos?

Does it say anything at all?

Because if it is just not playing, it may be a problem with your network?

Maybe your internet speed has changed, or is having problems etc?

Good Luck x
