I have some experience with programming in C++. What is the best programming language to learn it if you want to make money nowadays? Are there any new languages that are not known by programmers but they are wanted and well paid?

What programming language do you recommend me to learn? I have a lot of time that I can dedicate to study.

This depends what you want to do.

Now days people do stuff on the internet, so you can still create software but it would also be good to learn web page languages (XHTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery)

But for programming software, C++ and C are the fastest and most reliable programming languages. So it is good for you to know C++ very well.

You could create a web page design company.

I made thousands in one year creating other people some professorial websites.

Don't be taught BASIC. That type of programming has been lifeless and buried for over a decade. These days we use Functional and Object Oriented languages. C is a fine practical language which has been the groundwork for close to each and every programming language considering, and C++ is a multi-paradigmic language that may permit you to jot down procedural, position, or item-orientated methods, and shall be a lot more priceless to you as a programmer later. I could not inform you whatever approximately foxpro.

It depends what you want to do. A lot of programming work these days is for web development and server programming, this often involves a lot of PHP or Java. However, C++ is still a very necessary language for a professional programmer to know, especially for scientific work or game development.

Just look up job listings and see what languages they want.
