Web Browsers pros/cons?

I started off with Windows. I used IExplorer for a while until I got Firefox. And for years, it's all I used. Then I got my macbook a few months ago and have grown attached to Safari. I think it's the best of the 3, but Firefox still has some good plug-ins and whatnot. I've tested Opera, and Avant, and some other ones but nothing to me is any better than Safari or Firefox. So I was wondering what all of your opinions on web browsers are.
Also, I have a Mac so I haven't been able to try out Google Chrome yet, but I've heared from a few of my friends that it's amazing, and was wondering if anyone who has it could tell me about it and compare.
Thanks :]

Safari is alright on Macs, but I use Windows and it's not so hot on here. I was adamant I'd stick with IE for a long time, but I eventually moved over to Firefox and I'm quite happy with it - particularly the ad-blocker ad on! I'm curious to give Google Chrome a try though, so may download it at some point.

Google Chrome is pretty good but its only in beta so its so simple no java scrip enabled or tool bars just a simple browser and it only browse but it handles spyware and pop ups with ease so its pretty good but fire fox 3 i must say is the best google it and it woukd show why and how many rewards it gets its security is wicked you won't get a single spyware i have been using it in a month and now i don't need my anti-spyware but it's pop up blocker isn't that good but i don't really care about pop ups so yeah thats my opinion

I dislike comparing browser on how 'good they are.'

Opera is great for compatibility and stability.

Firefox is THE LEADER in plugins/customization/addons.

Safari is the fastest.

Google chrome is soon to be the most stable.

Chrome can make each of your tabs into different processes, so if ONE tab crashes, only that tab crashes. So your browser does not. It has a neat interface as well =)

Firefox and Safari are still the best.

Pls forget Internet Explorer.

Chrome is still in beta so i don't recommend using it. Don't follow the hype.

Avant is pretty much the same with IE.

There are still browsers you can try:

Trident rendering engine:

* AOL Explorer

* Avant Browser

* Bento Browser (Built into Winamp)

* Enigma

* Maxthon

* NeoPlanet

* NetCaptor

* Yahoo! Browser (or partnership browsers eg. "AT&T Yahoo! Browser"; "Verizon Yahoo! Browser"; "BT Yahoo! Browser" etc.)

* iRider

* Smart Bro

* UltraBrowser

* Runecats Explorer

Gecko-based browsers

* AT&T Pogo (based on Firefox)

* Beonex Communicator

* Camino for Mac OS X (formerly Chimera)

* CompuServe

* Conkeror

* DocZilla, an SGML browser

* Epiphany, GNOME's current default browser

* Flock (based on Firefox)

* Galeon, GNOME's former default browser

* GNU IceCat, GNU's free fork of Firefox

* K-Meleon for Windows

* K-MeleonCCF for Windows (based on K-Meleon)

* K-Ninja for Windows (based on K-Meleon)

* Kazehakase, a very light GTK2 web browser for GNU/Linux

* Kirix Strata, a web browser designed for data analytics

* Madfox (based on Firefox)

* ManyOne

* Mozilla Application Suite

* Mozilla Firefox (formerly Firebird and Phoenix)

* Netscape (Netscape 6 to Netscape Navigator 9)

* SeaMonkey (successor to Mozilla Application Suite)

* Songbird (based on Firefox)

* Skipstone

* XeroBank Browser (formerly Torpark), portable browser for anonymous browsing

KHTML and WebKit-based browsers

* ABrowse

* Web Browser for Android (mobile device platform)

* Arora

* Epiphany, GNOME's current default browser (2.26+)

* Google Chrome

* iCab (version 4 uses WebKit; earlier versions used its own rendering engine)

* Konqueror

* OmniWeb

* Safari

* Shiira

* Skipstone

* Sputnik for MorphOS (based on S60 WebCore)

* Midori

* Swift

* Web Browser for S60 (for mobile)

Presto-based browsers

* Opera

I recommend the Webkit and Gecko browsers. They are fast and support web standards.

each browser has its own plus and minus,, - Firefox: a great number of upload-ons, often times crashed - Opera: quickest acquire velocity, undesirable finding and shortage of upload-ons - Safari: looks super and have some particular features, massive memory (RAM) - Chrome: straight forward and almost finished exhibit screen, loss of features - IE: solid for commencing web content from Microsoft, slowest velocity It relies upon on your on an usual basis want. i take advantage of Firefox for usual surfing and Safari/Opera for downloading great records.
