Installing IIS7... I have MySQL, and PHP installed..... I get phpinfo to come up, but mysqli is not listed even though I enabled those extensions.... when I go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin, I get: The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory.
I don't want to list the content, I just want to install.... can anyone help?? Thanks!

Well, if you have indexing shut off for the directory where you install phpMyAdmin, then you're never going to get it installed. You need to run it from the browser to get it configured (unless you want to hack the configuration file by hand).
You need to check IIS for the settings on that specific directory.
The other problem with mysql: does the build of PHP that you installed have mysql support compiled in?
You also might need to check php.ini to make sure that all the libraries you need are called and loading. PHP has a different configuration for Windows that it does on Apache and *nix boxes.

Try this ApacheLite. It is complete and protable. It can be run directly by executing its exe file even from a USB disk. No need to install.
Get it here: http://myonline.voxnetours.com/downloadpage.php
just put the folder containing your webpages into the directory: ApacheLite\udrive\www\
bring up the GUI form and you can just click the phpMyAdmin button there.
there are readme.txt and help file. just read them for instructions

Just to add another great PHP server that you can use on Windows machines: AppServ.
P.S. the first answer is the most accurate.
