I’m using a great online company called Sitesell. This is the very first time I have ever built a website, so I needed a company who could take me by the hand, step by step!

I have nothing but praise for them! They make EVERYTHING so easy! They supply all of the online training, simple (yet incredibly sophisticated tools) and excellent support.

There is small annual hosting fee to pay but that includes all of the above plus your domain registration. They even supply the templates for designing your site! And don't worry about html coding or other techy stuff as that's all taken care of for you!

My site is only 18 months old. but It’s already very highly ranked by the major search engines and is attracting more than 30,000 visitors a month…..and rising! Plus it generates a substantial income which not only well exceeds the costs, but actually shows a very healthy profit!

You can get more details from my information page at:

1. Get a domain (www.godaddy.com)

2. Find a web designer OR find a "good" e-commerce shopping cart system (like Yahoo Stores). Remember not all websites are created equal and you often get what you pay for. Read reviews, use demos and get to know a cart before you commit to it. Make sure its created in a way that is search engine optimized. Look at other sites using the software, see if they are at the search engines.

3. Get good quality images of you products and write keyword rich descriptions of each product.

Begin with setting up your own webpage as your current internet provider will provide free hosting as discussed below.

If you are currently a paid Internet subscriber, you are entitled to a "homepage" which often contains simple navigation and editing tools. And if you use the Netscape browser, the built-in Composer feature is a superior HTML authoring tool which is totally free. You can easily generate a full-blown website as a Homepage by FTPing Notepad, Word, Dreamweaver, FrontPage designed webpage(s).

Nevertheless, the "homepage" URL is likely to be "http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscribe... name" and that URL can easily be overwritten via a redirection service, i.e., "mydomain.com" which allows you to link any registered domain name to "mask" another website. For example, should you type in the "domain name," you will be immediately transported to the homepage and the hompage URL of http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... a homepage URL which will be masked by the domain name. And the charge for the redirection service [even at godaddy.com] is normally FREE.

When you acquire a domain name, connect it using a redirection service [as discussed above] and submit/publish the domain name on major search engines/directories in order for Net surfers to find your website.

Good luck!

First step is taking lots of photos of your product, for a trial think of good domain name, for the website, through yahoo it is inexpensive to get domain name, and build your web site easy way through yahoo, I' m currently building my own that way I never used pc but mac as for me is very easy to use.

then put your product as ad with search engine. that is first step. contact yahoo personal if you have more question.

many servers have their own site builders (i know yahoo does) which seem to be easy solutions. pay yahoo for use of their server, and use their options to build your site.

or, i suggest a program called 'dreamweaver' or 'front page'

these programs are both WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). which mean that you can build your website using graphics and photos rather than having to know code.

much easier for those who are just beginning.
