How do I make a tab delimited file?

I have to make a tab delimited file to upload files in bulk on buyitsellit.com, and suggestion on how to make one / a template. I have done one before, but can't remember how I did it. Thanks!

just enter the data in excel



FILE >> SAVE AS >> SAVE AS Type (Tab -delimited)

You can read data in with excel and save as a tab-delimited file.



That's the easy gui I know of.

You put a tab after each bit of data and a new line after each set of data.

Notepad. Type the first field, then a tab, then the second field, etc. Press Enter, then start typing the second record.
