how to upload a website? I am trying to update my mum's site but don't know how to replace the old pages.?

My mum has a website for her shop, she paid for it and it is really horrible and irrelevant to her shop. I have made a new page for her using flash and i have the login info for the hosting company, aruba.it.

The problem is, I have no idea how to get my page up in place of the old site. I have tried with filezilla but my muddle around until getting results approach is only ok for things like flash and general use of windows. I don't even know if filezilla is the way to go. Can anyone advise of a better program or how to go about just uploading a page to a domain? My mum has no idea how it was done originally and the designer who made her site is no longer reachable.
My mum told me she tried to get someone in to update the page but that they couldn't "get in" to the page at all and just gave up. Help please!

Your mom should have the basic account login information. To use FileZilla you will also need the host FTP address. That is available from the Support page of your hosting provider. You also have access to a Control Panel which allows you to completely manage your mom's site. You need to learn how to use it.



You mum can call Support and request all the required information for her site. She will only have to prove that she is the owner of the site by answering some questions. I'm sure she renews the site with a credit card so that will help. Let me know if you still have problems. Let me know the hosting provider your mom uses and I can get the right FTP info for you.

Hi should be quite easy using your username and password and filezilla, when upl;oading to my site i have an ftp username and password setup on my hosting to allow me to upload.
