my localhost 8080 for working on tomcat server.each time i get this mssg " ur current security settings prohibit running activex controls on this page.the page may not display correctly." and also the web page displays " the page cannot be displayed" what can i do to connect to localhost inorder to work on tomcatserver.please give me right answers soon iam waiting for quick answers.

looks like you are playing with your self!



look at the the tomcat log, look at the tomcat conf.



are you sure you are 8080?



are you sure it's running???

If it says "connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost:8080" then check the port configured in server.xml file. By default it'f 8080.

sure, I many times provide a t/u to everybody that solutions my question. continually. i do not provide any t/d's. In a way, a nil score speaks louder than a t/d, and it must be a quite crappy answer to get a no score from me. Like someone putting forward Bud is solid beer. i assume that you'll qualify for the large No remark.

Based on the messages, you need to activate/ permit activex controls on your security settings. That should clear all the error messages ( until it finds something else wrong).
