I need a flash website - more a flash webpage, but don't know anything about flash. Is there a generator that allows a newbie like me to build flash pages?

http://www.wix.com is essentially an online Flash site creator. It is free if you don't mind the branding, and costs 5$ to remove the branding. No programming or flash knowledge required, entirely drag&drop.

You can always use pre made templates and just edit them. However as a newbie I feel that you should know:

Flash webpages are discouraged in the web 2.0 era. The reason being is that they usually take long to load, have more looks then information, and worst of all... some people don't have flash installed on their computer so they cannot view your website. Not only that, but google cannot full index it yet so people cannot search for it on google. And if people cannot find your website on google then you may as well not waste your time.

Try Site Builder Designs or Calvary Studios, they have everything you need in building your own flash website: domain name registration or domain transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.

I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.

If you are a pc user and are looking for an easy relatively inexpensive alternative to flash Try SWiSH miniMax2

They even have screencast videos' that are easy to follow along.

Scroll down to see the links for the miniMax2 video's

It is the easiest flash type software to learn on the market and still can be used for more advanced purposes.
