how to disable screensavers?

i have an xp desktop. every 5 minutes the screen goes black and when i move the mouse it goes back to the welcome menu. i wanna disable it coz i play xbox live upstairs and if the screensaver comes on my xbox live switches off as well.

Right Click On Your desktop and go to properties and under the screen saver tab change the options to meet your needs.

Right click on the desktop to bring up the Display Properties or go through the Control Panel under the start menu. Then choose the Screen Saver tab and under the drop down menu select none. You might want to also check under the Power options, by clicking the power button. Be sure that where it says Turn Off Monitor you select never.

1) Goto your desktop.



2) Right click, select properties.



3) Screen Saver tab.



4) Select blank from the Screen Saver drop down menu.



5) Click ok.
