I've almost completed my whole presentation in Power Point 2003. What's left is a table which was sent by my friend. I opened it in Word 2003 but i can't copy it from the Word to Power Point! All the borders go missing! I think this can only be done with the 2007 version. My sister's laptop has Microsoft Office 2007. Is it possible to copy one slide from 2007 onto a 2003 presentation??? Because i am at wit's end in copying the table from Word to Power Point. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME! I would try any suggestion!

Weren't you able to copy it to PowerPoint or you did, only that the borders were missing?

Regarding office versions, the fact that you were able to open that document with a table sent to you by your friend in MSWord 2003 tells us that your friend edited in the same version, or may be in 2007 but with the compatibility set to 2003, but it's already out of the question.

You know what, before I tried to answer your question, I did try first to create a table in word and pasted in powerpoint and I did it without any problems, with all the borders present. So maybe the question is, how did you copy your table?

About differences in 2003 and 2007 version of MS Office, just try to change the 2007 documents' extension to zip, open it in an archiver and you'll see that it's not the office documents that used to be.

I'm not an MSOffice tools pro, but what I would do is edit the table contents - you should get an excel-like editor.

Then create a table in PPT and paste it into the same editor there.

Good luck.
