How to fix "verification error - Request time out" when adding Cydia sources!?

Question

Hi, I have iPod 5G and 4G both with iOS 6.1 installed! They are jailbroken with evsi0n:D Cydia is working but I can NOT add any Repos; every time I try to add I get "Verification error - Request time out!!". I don't know Y this is happening; my internet connection is good; I have tried VPN-PPTP connection too, but no result.
So can any one help me?!

Hey,



Cydia is currently taking a lot of traffic, so no one can access it because of the boom in the amount of people trying to use it after jailbreaking. You can however be notified when Cydia is back up using this website.

The website you want to be up is "http://cydia.saurik.com". Just punch in your email and it will tell you when cydia is back online! Hope this helps

Because the new jailbreak just came out, thousands of people are trying to add sources, especially the most popular ones, just leave it for about 30 minutes and try again

You have to keep trying it over and ever again. You will receive a "bad gateway" message when you start your tweaks. Its just the overload of jail breakers adding sources and downloading. Be patient and persistent.

it is just because of the overload of every one trying to add different sources. i had to try about 10 times before my request didn't time out.
