computer programming career questions please help older people please!?

i am looking forward to take computer programming program at a canadian college for 2 years, and i was wondering if i can get into a video game industry by being the programmer or other jobs that are available. so my question is would a 2 year college program be enough to get hired by a big company? I can't get into university because i am not that smart but i';ll do really good in college like 85%. so thanks please help!!

gamer programmers come from a very different crowd...they are hackers, true geeks (NOT in a bad way, for the Geeks shall inherit the Earth), are very inventive, and have a tremendous sense of adventure.

Programmers, on the other hand, will always have a job...there are so many computers in the world, so many programs to be written, and so many damned computers to keep on line, connected to a network, etc...that are always causing problems. Learn all you can, learn all you can about MS and Unix...you will never be without a good paying job. Good luck

i'm unsure, yet as quickly as I checked on a nz governement internet site, it suggested that webdesigner is around NZ$40k/year or so, its no longer that lots, programming i've got heard it could earn 200k/year after a three month direction, yet i surprisingly doubt that. i'm attempting to do a working laptop or pc pathway too, i'm doing an tips administration problem in highschool and became instructed that a internet site i made became incredibly good, and that i diden't attempt annoying on it in any respect. so i'm merely making web pages to prepare.

You might find a business that you're interested in working with and contact a manager or director and ask what type of things they might require from an intern and/or a potential applicant.

developing games is a delicated work. you need to protect your work so you need to learn somthing about hacking and cracking, i mean you need to know how someone crack your game serial number, to be able to make it more secure. Hope you got the idea.



my tip is: try to program your own games and show them to the world, not make games when someone put you to make them

yes i thinkyou can but more important is that you tell yourself youcan. apply for all jobs in that field,start with entry level and work your way up
