I have a computer that runs XP. It was purchased in Quebec so all the keys have english and arabic lettering accordingly. Sometimes it writes in arabic and shows others writing in the same in chat rooms. This is an off and on thing. Now it won't let me log into my admin account. I am guessing that it is stuck on arabic because when I type a "b" it gives 2 "*" astrics not just one. So now I can't get into my system. How do I get? I would really like to keep what is on the computer, but will deal if I can just whip it and be done. I tried safe mode, but it takes me straight to the log in screen again and still won't work. I have rebooted many times while troubleshooting...no help. The last time I fixed this I had a 2nd account that did not have a password and was able to change to english once in windows. But my son put a password with talking to me and the 2nd one is now password protected and won't accept the english password :(.

Thank you.

Sounds like you're stuck with an arabic keyboard layout. Try ALT+SHIFT and see if the little square on the corner changes from AR to EN.

hi there, you should use the technique below to locate your password. you'll want to receive the ISO report and burn the picture to a CD. next you boot from the "stay CD" you've made and this technique will locate your password. you'll want to receive and installation BurnCDCC to burn the iso report to the CD first. there are quite a few different isoburners yet BurnCDCC is amazingly ordinary. (you in basic terms settle for each of the defaults and aspect this technique to the iso report on your workstation) The password restore software is a 400 MB receive and could take about and hour to receive so commence the receive and take a wreck. save the receive in an area the position you'll locate it truthfully. wish this facilitates, Al
