Why aren't my Wordpress links to external sites working? The link is added to the end of my site's URL. Help!?

I use Wordpress for my blog, and this has never happened, and on my other blog entries the links work fine. But for my most recent entry some of the links aren't working!

If my website is

example.com

when I click a link to amazon.com in my blog, the address becomes:

http://www.example.com/www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0316608459/

... which obviously can't load. WHY IS IT DOING THIS? Why isn't it linking correctly. Help!

You're leaving off the http:// in the URL. If it's not included, the browser will assume that it's an internal link, going to somewhere else on your site.

If someone on level 1 posts a link in a question then anyone who wants to see it can press the blue "Answer Question" button and the link will show up as active when the question is repeated above the answer box.

If you want to get started in blogging, you really can't make a much better choice than WordPress.
