You may be able to change the background color of an image, such as a logo, using an image editing program or application, like Gimp, which is free, open-source, and can be downloaded from the link below.

http://www.gimp.org/macintosh/

Once you've downloaded and installed Gimp, you might be able to achieve the desired effect by opening the image you'd like to edit and then either using a selection tool to "cut out" the background entirely and then replace it, or by using the "Fill" tool, which will fill a particular section (as long as it is the same color throughout) with the color you desire.

Additionally, you may be able to find some great tutorial videos or guides online, on a variety of Gimp related topics, including this one, by doing a search with your favorite search engine!

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

Well if you have some sort of paint on your mac simply click on a colour and then fill it in the background. If you don't have paint or want a more professorial finish you will need adobe photoshop

(around $900) Simply unlock the background and create a new layer drag it under the picture then go into Select> Colour range then click on the background. The click ok and press delete after that click the bottom layer and then fill it any colour you want. ( Hope i helped i don'y know much about macs so i can't tell you what software you have to do it)

Adobe photoshop is a good program though.

If you want high quality and do not have professional tools like Adobe Photoshop, you may be looking for something that does not exist, unfortunately. Other than the suggestions that have been made with regards to GIMP and the like, there are not too many options.

You can submit your graphic request to websites like my own (http://www.obrainery.com/) and I would be more than happy to try my hand at what you need.

Hope this helps!

Use the magic wand tool to selet all the white areas of the background then while the area is selected use the paint bucket tool to change it to green.

The quickest and easiest way is to use CoffeeCup's Web Image Studio [ http://www.coffeecup.com/web-image-studio/ ]. Read the tutorials to see how easy it is to edit images.
