Dreamweaver cs3 will not open frame pages?

I have been using Dreamweaver CS3 since it came out. - I have never noticed this problem before. But today I am trying to update a frame page (one that says put the contents of menu.html on the left and the contents of page.html on the right) ... I clicked to edit it in Dreamweaver. But when I view the source - it shows me the source of the frame's pages.

Does that make sense? ... I want to tell it to display menu2.html on the left instead of menu1.html . But when I click to edit the page - it takes me into menu1.html instead of showing me the code for index.html

Is there somewhere to easily fix this? I do know how to edit in notepad, but that would put in Windows line endings which would mess up the guy I am working with. (I have dreamweaver set to only do linux line endings.) I can install Cream/Vim, but I really prefer dreamweaver.

Just look in the code view - all the content is there although it could be that it's stored in an external javascript file, I suppose - then you'll see a reference to that in the HTML code. Note that such things are very poor for accessibility and for search engines, so are best avoided.

Just use code view and change the 1 to a 2 then save the page.

Dreamweaver is horrible, you should be using MS Expression Web.
